The Wayne Community Foundation plays a key role in providing significant funding to projects that strengthen the Wayne County community. We have intentionally created this grant making cycle to award a grant that will have a major significant impact in the Wayne County community.
Grant Amount:
The Seeds for Success Grant is targeting projects in the range of $50,000.
Eligibility Requirements:
Grants are made only to charitable organizations or causes with 501(c)(3) status, or to governmental agencies serving a charitable purpose. Geographically, funding is limited to projects that will significantly improve the Wayne County community. It is the Foundation’s practice to fund completed projects or proposals.
The Community Foundation will not consider:
- Ongoing annual operating expenses or continued program funding.
- Grants to individuals.
- Projects not serving residents of Wayne County.
The Community Foundation will consider projects that:
- Build social capital and are collaborative in nature.
- Are sustainable to ensure community impact.
- Are positioned to leverage additional resources and support.
- Have a significant impact on a large number of Wayne County residents.
This grant will take applications and be awarded throughout the Fall each year, should a project meeting the requirements be submitted.
