The Wayne Community Foundation awards grants for projects in Wayne County. Grants funded through gaming revenue are awarded in late spring. Applications are due February 5th, 2024. Applicants may apply for basic grants or focus grants. Focus grants are intended for larger projects and are on a three-year cycle of emphasis.
2024 – Municipalities/Safety/Environment
2025 – Education/Arts/Culture
2026 – Health/Wellness/Recreation
Special project grants, funded by endowment disbursements, are given in the fall. The Board of Directors choose projects particularly important to the future of Wayne County. There is no application process.
