Wayne Community Foundation is pleased to assist the Seymour Community and the Seymour Community School District by establishing the “Seymour Disaster Relief Fund”. City and school officials are continuing to assess property and economic damage as a result of a F2 tornado that hit Seymour on March 6th. This fund is accepting contributions and will allocate those funds to local nonprofits to assist in tornado-related community needs.
Monetary donations may be made payable to the Wayne Community Foundation with “Seymour Disaster Relief” noted in the memo and mailed to either the Wayne Community Foundation, PO Box 82, Corydon, IA 50060 or to the City of Seymour, 109 N. 5th Street, Seymour, IA 52590. Online donations can be made through PayPal with “Seymour Disaster Relief” declared under special instructions.
